Take your pet for a spa day prior to the shoot! Make sure they have had a bath to make their hair super shiny, nails trimmed, and a hair cut for breeds that need it. ​

Bring multiple collars/leashes & harnesses. We try to shoot everyone off leash but in the case it is needed, it's nice to have options!​

Bring along a bag of their favorite treats & toys (especially ones that make sounds). Anything that will bring out their expressions you love the most!​

Wear them out a bit prior to the shoot. It takes time for animals to acclimate to a new environment and for this reason it's best (especially for sensitive/highly excitable animals) to have an especially long walk or play session prior.
